Usap usapan nanaman sa internet, partikular na sa sikat na social networking sites tulad ng Twitter at Facebook and di umano'y panlalait at pagsasabi ng mga hindi magagandang salita patungkol sa Pilipinas at sa WBO 7 division Champion na tinagurian nating Pambansang Kamao na si Manny Pacquiao.
Marami sa America ang nakarinig sa mga di magagandang komentaryo ng isang sikat na Radio personality sa US na si Adam Carolla sa kanyang programang Adam Carolla Podcast. Maraming mga Pilipino ang lubos na naapektuhan sa mga sinabi ni Adam at nagprotesta laban dito. Ilan sa mga ito ay humingi ng public apology na sa kagandahan naman ay ginawa agad ni Adam.
Narito ang ilang bahagi ng kanyang komentaryo:
“All you…got is just an illiterate guy who won’t give up blood who happens to smash other guys in the head better than other people? That’s all you have as the Philippines? Oh they are so proud of their native son. They think the world of him. When he comes home, he comes home to a hero’s parade. He’s gonna run for congress in the Philippines and win handily.”
“Really, you want some guy with brain damage running your country? Why don’t you get your **** together?…Get your **** together Philippines. Jesus Christ. I mean, again, it’s fine to be proud of your countryman but that’s it, that’s all they got? What happens when he loses, what happens when Floyd Mayweather beats him? Then what? The whole country goes into depression? Jesus you got nothing going.”
At narito naman ang kanyang paghingi ng apology sa Twitter:
"Read your comments. Sorry if I offended many of u. I don't preplan my commentary. I try to be provocative, funny but I crossed the line & im sorry. By the way, I think Manny is a great fighter"
Grabe. Sa tuwing gagawa nalang ba ang Pilipinas ng magandang ingay sa buong mundo ay ganito ang mpapala natin sa mga dayuhan???
