FAIL Blood Donation

One of my closest friends Paul informed us yesterday that her Auntie badly needs a blood donation. She was diagnosed of Breast cancer few months ago. She had undergone surgeries and other operations already but last week she seemed to have lost her energy and collapsed, said Paul. So she was taken to the UST hospital and there found out that she needs more blood.

Paul texted us yesterday about it and we didnt have second thoughts of donating. So early this afternoon we decided to go to the USTH to have our blood tested and that we may be able to donate as what her Auntie needed. There were seven of us that went there but unfortunately none of us was lucky enough to go through the donation process.

I understood the situation because as we all have expected, we are busy at school and that our resistance may not be enough for the donation. I also understand that donating blood requires a lot of energy and healthy body.

We all felt so bad about it. We saw Paul's Aunt lying on the hospital bed, looking really weak. Its just so sad that we couldnt do anything for our friend's loved one. I hope that in some ways we could still be of help about the misfortune of Paul's family.

If anyone is interested to donate, please feel free to contact me and i'll really be glad if you could help. Thank you.
